Should I use THC Bath Bombs?

If you’ve been to a dispensary and noticed that they offer THC bath bombs, you’re not alone. But are they worth it? Is it something to consider if you’re a recreational user? Well, let’s go over why they are good for some people, and how they’re able to offer results.

Who they Work

They interact with the skin, which is your largest organ, and is the barrier between the inside of the body, and the world at large. Remember that our skin is semi-permeable, so we can allow some things in. There are different layers here too, and our circulatory system as well. You can feed cannabinoids through the skin to the bloodstream, to help with reducing pain, inflammation and the like. It works the same way as massage oil or patches do, where when you use them, the cannabinoids get absorbed. This usually creates a “body high” more than the mental high, and it’s usually not super psychoactive.

It usually offers passive diffusion, where you get some of this delivered, and it can be good if you want a little bit of THC. The biggest thing to understand is that it’s a concentrated way, and while not super-efficient, it does work. They do help work everything into the circulatory area too.

They do not get you high in the same way that having an edible or smoking a bowl might, but there are effectives there. it’s more of a very strong relaxation, so it’s basically considered more of a body than a mental high.

The benefits

There are tons of benefits that come with this. The first thing is that they usually are great for relaxing, due to the THC within it, but also the other oils that are usually in this that naturally aid relaxation through aromatherapy. It also usually has Epsom salts in there too, which means that they break down within the body to magnesium along with sulfate, allowing the body to adequately absorb this, so it can help with inflammation in certain areas.

THC is also a natural fat that has a base to it, so it’s good for the skin, delivering necessary fatty acids to this to bring life to it. Finally, they’re super easy to make too, so if you’re interested in possibly making these, you can with the use of THC oil, and bath bomb ingredients.

The drawbacks

While it’s good to have, it’s not the most efficient means to get THC into the body.

If you’re trying to get a lot of THC inside, then this is not the way to do this. That’s because the skin is only semi permeable, and usually, it only allows a little bit in there.

It also won’t give you the psychedelic type of experience, but instead, is better for relaxation.

What about CBD

CBD is another popular way to have bath bombs. This of course, is not psychoactive like how THC is, but it’s used for depression, anxiety, and stress, and is perfect for the relief of joint and muscle pain and boosting the sleep quality that you have.

The cool thing with this, is that through the use of a bath bomb, the effects can be even stronger.

This is a good thing to try out, and you can even get them infused with delta-8 and CBD, and there are manufacturers that have both of these together, along with essential oils, and other additives to offer full relaxation.

These types f bath bombs are great. While they don’t get you high, they’re great for relaxation reasons.
