How to Beat Cannabis Hangovers

Cannabis hangovers happen when you have too much cannabis during a short period of time. similar to alcohol, you may experience dehydration, nausea, dry eyes, and dry mouth, but they’re a lot more tolerable compared to hangovers, and in this, you’ll learn how to beat them.

So what are they exactly?

It’s similar to how alcohol hangovers work, where you may deal with the feeling of this over a small period of time. you might be hungover for a whole day, and deal with migraines, fatigue, along with brain fog. If you like to use medical cannabis to help with something, and you start to feel like you’re not alert and foggy the next day, that’s a sign you might be experiencing this.

Other typical signs include:

  • Lethargy
  • Fatigue
  • Dry mouth and eyes
  • Brain fog
  • Mild nausea symptoms
  • Headaches, possibly a migraine

This is something that you should not panic about however, since this is something that isn’t really distinguished as an actual ailment in the body, so it’s not like you’re going to die if you get a little bit hungover from some weed.

The cause of this is too much compared to your tolerance level, but the side effects do vary based on each person.

Some of the other effects include:

  • Sudden anxiety
  • Memory lapsing
  • Sluggish feelings
  • Disorientation
  • Sometimes hallucinations
  • Issues with coordination
  • Impotence in guys

Sometimes you might experience all of these or none, or sometimes one or two of these symptoms.

Tips to Overcome these

The cure for this is similar to alcohol: food and drinks will save you. So the first thing that you should do, is grab a big glass of some water, and then drink for a bit until you start to feel rehydrated, or if the cotton mouth feeling starts to reduce.

You should also start to eat whole-grain breakfasts that are sensible, including lean proteins, and healthy fats. Smoothies also provide a lot of sugar and vitamins too, since that also will help with hydration. Hemp seeds are great to boost brain function.

If you deal with a stomach that feels upset, or nerves which are jittery after you’ve had a cannabis hangover, you can try ginger tea. Caffeine and tea also may help if you feel a bit laggy from the marijuana. Herbal teas and green tea as well are great to help fully awaken the body. infusions and foods are good, but also consider taking some aspirin, and don’t be afraid to relax in a shower or bath. Take it a bit slow, and don’t try to overstimulate your body with noises and sounds. Try to rest in places which are quiet, replenishing everything with healthier alternatives and some water to help keep you more pepped and cheery.

The other good thing to do is also to prevent it. Remember, this is a medicine that you can try, but that doesn’t mean that you should just go crazy. Just like with regular medicine, the dosage needs to be looked at.

You need to look at the right dosages for you. If you take to much, you can get anxious, and also, the right strain plays a part in this too. Strains that are milder and more gentle are better for anxiety, and also helps with mitigating the side effects as well.

Finally, if you absolutely need to, limit the cannabis products consumed. Learning how much you can handle is the best way to prevent you from taking too much, too fast.
